This page explains how users can request deletion or correction of identifiable data associated with NoesisFood, including submitted feedback, correction requests, scans or photos, product identifiers, or similar submissions.
NoesisFood does not use user accounts or login. The service provides informational product analysis only and does not replace medical advice. Please do not submit sensitive personal health information through the service.
1. Data Deletion
If you believe you have submitted identifiable information through NoesisFood and would like it deleted or corrected, you may contact us using the email listed below.
2. No user accounts
NoesisFood does not use user accounts or login. Because of this, deletion or correction requests must include enough detail for us to identify the relevant data, where reasonably possible.
3. What data deletion may cover
Depending on the context, a request deletion or correction inquiry may relate to identifiable submissions such as:
- corrections or feedback you submitted;
- photos or scans used for OCR or product analysis;
- manual product identifiers, barcodes, product names, or ingredient/nutrition submissions;
- other identifiable information that you intentionally submitted through the service.
4. How to request deletion or correction
To request deletion or correction, email p.flemetakis@web.de and clearly describe the request.
5. Information to include in your request
To help identify the relevant data, please include as much detail as reasonably available, such as:
- approximate submission date;
- product barcode or product name;
- language used in the app;
- whether the request relates to feedback, correction, photo upload, or another submission context;
- any other details that could help identify the relevant data.
6. Limits and retention
Deletion may be limited where data cannot reasonably be linked to the requester, where the request is too vague to identify the relevant information, or where retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security, fraud prevention, compliance, or system integrity purposes.
7. Technical logs and operational records
Some technical logs or operational records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, abuse prevention, diagnostics, or system integrity. We do not promise immediate deletion or deletion within a fixed period unless specifically confirmed.
